Alicia Townes
CFO, VTG
As CFO at VTG, Alicia Townes led the financial integration of seven acquisitions, bringing diverse, stand-alone systems onto VTG’s enterprise platform while maintaining uninterrupted day-to-day operations. This work supported VTG’s continued growth and built a more unified, scalable foundation for the company’s future.
“The accomplishments I value most are the ones that create opportunities for people to succeed,” Townes said. “As VTG grows, my focus is on building scalable financial operations, using automation thoughtfully, and developing a team that is ready to support the business and our customers in a changing market.”
Townes also helps government customers operate more efficiently by ensuring VTG has the strong financial foundation, integrated systems and scalable processes needed to support responsive program execution. By modernizing finance and accounting through automation and providing strategic financial insight to operational and customer account teams, Townes’ team helps the business make informed decisions and direct resources effectively. This enables VTG’s delivery teams to stay focused on their customers’ missions as the company continues to grow.
Why Watch
In 2026, Townes and her team are focused on advancing automation, including evaluating AI-enabled tools, to increase efficiency and elevate the services that the finance and accounting team provides across VTG. They are also strengthening the scalable financial systems, processes and insights needed to guide operational and customer account strategies as the company grows.
Equally important, Townes is investing in VTG’s people so they can expand their capabilities and adapt to an evolving government contracting market.
“Having worked with Alicia for many years, including our time together at Vistronix and now at VTG, I have seen her consistently pair financial discipline with strategic vision,” said John Hassoun, CEO of VTG. “Her leadership has been instrumental in integrating acquisitions, supporting our growth and building the financial foundation that enables VTG’s continued success.”
Fun fact: Townes is a dedicated football mom. Her son is a senior in high school, so this year is filled with games, milestones and college planning as he pursues opportunities to play football at the next level. Townes is soaking up every moment and looking forward to seeing where his hard work takes him.
