Lesley Lambert
CFO, Trilogy IT
Since joining Trilogy in 2024, Lesley Lambert has helped build the financial foundation behind breakout growth, with year-over-year revenue growth accelerating from 18% to 62%. This year is on pace to more than double 2024 revenue.
When a pivotal contract win tripled the company’s headcount, disciplined pricing, margin management, stronger cash flow and an expanded credit facility allowed Trilogy IT to absorb that growth without missing a beat. At the same time, Lambert protected the company’s margins and employee experience, including leading a transition to a new 401(k) provider and benefits broker.
“Lesley sees both the numbers and the business behind them,” said Melissa McKenna, chief of staff at Trilogy. “She brings the financial discipline that gives Trilogy the confidence and capacity to grow, helping us navigate extraordinary growth without outpacing our infrastructure. She doesn’t just protect the business we have today — she is building the company we intend to become.”
To help government operate more efficiently, Lambert said Trilogy IT prices for where the mission is headed and what customers will need next, not just what the requirement says. On a recent win, that meant building in emerging security capabilities upfront, helping the customer avoid costly retrofits later. Disciplined management of rates and margins makes that possible, allowing Trilogy IT to deliver future-ready capability at a competitive price while maximizing the value of public resources.
Why Watch
In 2026, Lambert and her team are building the infrastructure to support an aggressive corporate scaling strategy. Doubling in two years is the starting line, not the finish, she said. They’re refining the policies and procedures that let a much larger company operate with discipline and consistency, and strengthening Trilogy IT’s revenue lifecycle across capture, business development and proposals. They’re also building AI into core finance functions to shorten month-end close and give leadership faster, sharper insight. This is positioning Trilogy for strategic acquisitions in the near future.
“Growth is the easy part to celebrate,” Lambert said. “The real work is building a foundation strong enough to sustain it, and that means never choosing between protecting the bottom line and taking care of our people. When we’re disciplined enough to do both, growth feels like momentum, not strain.”
Fun fact: “On almost every web call, someone asks if my background is real, and it is: I live in a beautiful, quirky 1980s log home, no filters needed,” Lambert said. She is also a born-and-raised Northern Virginian, a rarity in a region full of transplants. Those local roots are why she has served since 2013 as treasurer of Cindy’s Legacy, a grassroots charity helping local cancer patients and their families afford everyday essentials.
