Jon Meyer
CFO, Entarian
As CFO, Jon Meyer successfully led the debt syndication process following the combination of ERT and Sev1Tech into Entarian. The process involved developing comprehensive lender marketing materials, negotiating key credit agreement terms, and articulating a compelling investment thesis supported by the financial and operational performance of the combined business.
Ultimately, the successful syndication validated the execution of the integration strategy, demonstrated the strength of the combined platform, and reinforced lender confidence in Entarian’s long-term growth prospects.
“Building our team, both in finance and elsewhere at Entarian, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career,” Meyer said. “Watching individuals grow, fostering team dynamics and seeing a successful integration through to the other side is an incredible achievement, and I couldn’t be prouder of all the Entarians who contributed to it. We have come a very long way from Macquarie’s initial investment just a few short years ago!”
Meyer is also helping connect Entarian’s investment decisions to what government customers actually need: reliable execution, technical solutions that fit their programs and better value for the dollars they spend. As Entarian infuses its services with proprietary solutions, finance has to help the company decide which capabilities to build, where to invest and how to scale them. The goal is to bring more expertise and better tools to the mission so customers can accomplish more by choosing Entarian as partners.
Why Watch
In 2026, Meyer and his team are focused on positioning Entarian as a premier provider of integrated mission solutions across the space, defense and national security markets. By bringing together Entarian’s complementary capabilities in satellite mission operations, digital engineering, secure networking, cyber defense and IT modernization, the company has a tremendous opportunity to deliver more comprehensive solutions to existing customers while expanding into new missions and markets.
From a financial and strategic perspective, Meyer’s priority is to ensure Entarian is deploying capital and resources effectively, investing in differentiated capabilities, and building a scalable platform that supports sustained organic growth, strategic M&A and long-term enterprise value creation.
Fun fact: Meyer takes backyard hosting and Hokies football probably a little too seriously. A typical summer weekend can involve a smoker, a griddle and a grill running simultaneously, with a game on the outdoor TV, friends gathered around and a firepit to boot. Meyer recently brought his smoker and smoked 30 pounds of turkey legs at a Virginia Tech tailgate. “A lot of work, but worth it!” he said.
