Jack Jackson
Vice President of Human Resources, DCS Corp.
Jack Jackson leads HR for DCS Corp. with his unique background as a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and extensive HR industry leadership experience. For the past 15 to 20 years, he has operated in the government contracting space with a variety of missions, helping companies focused on growth through talent acquisition and the advancement of HR processes.
He has recently been helping DCS and its employee owners navigate the new government funding and regulatory environment. “As we shift priorities internally, it has been important to be transparent with our employee owners regarding our strategic priorities moving forward,” Jackson said.
In fact, one of Jackson’s favorite quotes from his days of playing for the Naval Academy lacrosse team is: “Commitment makes the difference.”
Though a team motto, Jackson said it is relevant in the workplace today. “We have to rise above the challenges of the current environment and be committed to excellence and our customers,” he said.
Why Watch
Jackson and his team recently led HR integration efforts for the acquisition of ARCTOS, which brings new, complementary strategic capabilities to DCS Corp.’s aerospace and defense customers.
And considering DCS prides itself on delivering complex technical solutions to its customers, he and his team are focused on employing highly technical subject matter experts to support their government customers’ missions.
“We make things happen by being responsive and upholding the highest technical standards through our quality management system,” Jackson said.
Fun fact: Jackson has six kids total – four sons and two daughters, who are both getting married in 2027. Additionally, he and his wife are relatively new grandparents with twin 2-year-old boys.
