    Tanja Guerra

Chief Human Resources Officer, Alpha Omega

As CHRO, Tanja Guerra navigated Alpha Omega’s acquisition of two companies on the same day, doubling the solutions firm’s size. She leads workforce transformation initiatives that continue to strengthen organizational performance, enhance employee experience, and ensure Alpha Omega has the talent needed to support critical government missions.

Guerra has been instrumental in advancing AI adoption, modernizing HR operations, supporting leadership development at every level, and driving initiatives that enable sustainable growth while maintaining a strong culture of engagement and accountability.

One of her most significant recent achievements has been cultivating a skilled workforce whose unique talents support Alpha Omega’s federal customers’ missions. Guerra and her team continue driving the integration of AI and automation into HR and back-office functions to improve efficiency, decision-making and employee experience.

They also built TalentMatch — an advanced AI-powered platform that identifies and deploys internal talent across Alpha Omega — and Talent EDGE, a workforce strategy that creates a pipeline of cleared, mission-ready professionals across engineering, cybersecurity and user experience disciplines.

By ensuring the organization has the right talent, leadership and workforce capabilities in place, Alpha Omega helps government customers maintain continuity, increase performance and adapt more quickly to changing mission requirements.

Over the past year, Alpha Omega has fundamentally reshaped how it delivers value through the Continuum Automation Framework, an ecosystem of AI-enabled modernization accelerators designed to address recurring federal challenges across the IT portfolio lifecycle. HR’s focus on workforce planning, employee engagement, and operational efficiency enables teams to deliver higher-value outcomes while reducing organizational friction.

“Tanja demonstrates the leadership, vision and execution needed to create real value in the government contracting marketplace and lasting organizational impact,” said Gautam Ijoor, CEO and founder of Alpha Omega.

“She has been a driving force behind our workforce integration and transformation. Tanja’s leadership in strategy, employee engagement and innovation has positioned Alpha Omega to meet the evolving needs of our customers while remaining committed to our people-first culture.”

    Why Watch

In 2026, Guerra’s team is heavily focused on workforce transformation, leadership development, and leveraging AI to create a more agile and effective employee experience. They built scalable culture, professional development, leadership and internship programs that help attract, develop and retain exceptional talent while supporting mission-critical customer work. These efforts have helped streamline processes, provide leaders with better workforce insights, and position the organization for future growth.

“Our success begins with our people,” Guerra said. “By investing in exceptional talent, committing to continuous improvement, embracing critical thinking and innovation, and creating an environment where employees can thrive, we strengthen our ability to deliver meaningful results for our customers, teams and communities.”

Fun fact: Guerra is a CHRO, twin-daughters’ college-mom, and a dog mom who can switch from discussing executive compensation to solving student housing challenges and anxious-dog road trips in the same conversation in English or German.
