Herrick Technology Labs has appointed Tom Cece as vice president of engineering.
Cece previously served as director of platform engineering, where he helped drive organizational growth.
“Tom has a crucial understanding of the solutions our customers rely on across a broad range of missions,” said Chad Kettering, president and CEO of Herrick Technology Labs.
“He brings a unique combination of expertise and skill in developing and fielding solutions through a convergence of hardware and applications. I’m confident that Tom will do a great job in leading our Engineering team to new heights and aid in HTL’s continued growth.”
Cece has been with Herrick Technology Labs for over a decade, helping to advance its mission-critical SIGINT and electronic warfare product lines, including software-defined radios, direction-finding antennas and 3U VPX solutions.
As head of the engineering department, Cece will lead the development of advanced hardware and software architecture designed to protect warfighters and provide defense and government partners with a definitive edge in contested spectrum environments.
“I am honored to lead this exceptionally talented engineering team at Herrick,” Cece said. “I’ve spent most of my career bringing new products into this particular market space. The entire team here is excited to do exactly that this coming year with numerous new, innovative, tactically relevant products coming available. Stay tuned!”
