NT Concepts’ Predictive Logistics Autonomous Network Kill-chain platform has earned “Awardable” status in both the standard marketplace and SBIR/STTR aisle of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
The dual designation makes PLANK available for streamlined procurement and allows defense organizations to move the platform toward operational deployment through Small Business Innovation Research Phase III acquisition pathways.
PLANK is designed to connect combat operations with sustainment logistics in disconnected, intermittent and limited-bandwidth environments. The platform combines a tactical data mesh with localized AI agents to help units synchronize operational and logistics workflows.
At the core of the platform is FastSync, NT Concepts’ patent-pending translation engine. FastSync converts specialized data from legacy tactical communications systems into structured information that can be processed by distributed AI agents and integrated into knowledge graphs at the tactical edge.
“PLANK demonstrates how mission-focused AI delivers operational value in the environments where it matters most: forward, degraded, and time-constrained,” said Bhargavi Kodali, CIO at NT Concepts.
“PLANK is built on a simple premise: readiness is not just about what forces have, but how fast they can see, predict, and move what they need. Rather than requiring pristine enterprise data or constant connectivity, the platform bridges tactical operations and sustainment data at the edge to reduce decision lag, alleviate Soldier cognitive burden, and give commanders a decisive advantage in DDIL conditions.”
According to the NT Concepts, PLANK continuously analyzes historical and live operational data to forecast ammunition consumption, achieving 87.5% accuracy and contributing to a 25% increase in operational velocity. The platform can also extract information from operational orders to create an evolving semantic map and uses localized generative AI models, including Google Gemma, to let soldiers query supply data and produce visual reports using natural language.
Tradewinds is managed by the CDAO and is the Department of War’s suite of tools and services for accelerating the acquisition of AI, machine learning, data and analytics capabilities.
The SBIR Aisle in the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is specialized for small businesses to showcase their SBIR/STTR solutions.
