Washington State Health Care Authority has chosen REI Systems’ GovGrants to support management and oversight of its grant programs.
The platform helps to standardize processes, strengthen subrecipient monitoring, improve financial visibility and manage grants through a centralized system, the company said.
“Washington HCA’s selection of GovGrants reflects the growing need for flexible, accountable grants management as states take on increasingly complex health initiatives,” said Mayank Jain, senior director of SaaS for REI Systems.
“This is about more than administering funds. It is about giving program leaders the visibility and tools they need to direct resources effectively, support community partners, and demonstrate meaningful results for the people they serve. As Washington puts its Rural Health Transformation funding to work, GovGrants will help HCA track every dollar from award to outcome, so investments in prevention, workforce, and technology reach rural communities with the transparency taxpayers expect.”
The selection comes as states begin administering the $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program, which is set to distribute $10 billion a year from 2026 through 2030. Washington received about $181.3 million in first-year funding. Led by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the program is intended to expand access to rural care and support workforce, infrastructure and technology improvements.
