Tria Federal has achieved the Department of War’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2.
Tria met the requirements of NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2 for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information during an independent, third-party audit, the company said.
“Achieving CMMC Level 2 demonstrates our team’s commitment to safeguarding sensitive information every day,” said Tria Federal CEO Tim Borchert.
“For our customers, this certification is assurance that Tria’s systems, processes, and people meet the Department of War’s rigorous cybersecurity standard to protect the defense industrial base.”
The assessment included Tria’s security controls and operating procedures, testing of technical configurations and evaluation of Tria’s policies and processes.
Tria provides agencies with cybersecurity and software services, including risk assessments, threat detection and vulnerability tracking. The company said its work helps agencies protect sensitive data, connect systems and support timely decision-making.
