CGI has acquired Callibrity, expanding its presence in Cincinnati, Ohio, and its capabilities in production-ready enterprise AI, platform engineering and digital product development.

The deal closed on Sept. 8.

“Cincinnati represents an exciting market for CGI and an opportunity to further establish our presence with a highly respected team that shares our commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes for clients,” said Vijay Srinivasan, president of U.S. commercial and state government operations at CGI.

“Callibrity brings deep technical expertise, a strong consulting mindset and a culture of curiosity and collaboration that align well with CGI. Together, we can build on the trusted relationships and expertise Callibrity has established while bringing clients CGI’s broader capabilities, industry insight and global scale.”

Callibrity is a technology consulting firm that works across commercial industries with a focus on financial services, insurance and manufacturing. It brings 120 consultants to CGI and strengthens its presence in the Cincinnati metro area.

For Callibrity’s clients, joining CGI provides continued access to the teams, an expanded range of services and CGI’s global delivery network.

“We founded Callibrity on a simple idea: bring smart, talented technologists together, ask the right questions and build solutions that make a meaningful difference for our clients,” said Gary Howard, CEO of Callibrity.

“Joining CGI gives us the opportunity to build on what has made Callibrity successful while expanding what we can offer our clients and our people. We see this as the next chapter in what we’ve built together, with greater capabilities and opportunities while staying true to the curiosity, expertise and relationships at the heart of Callibrity.”
