Mike Manzo
Defense and Intelligence Operating Group President, ASRC Federal
Mike Manzo joined ASRC Federal’s Defense & Intelligence operating group in April 2025. His first major undertaking was the company’s acquisition of Applied Research Solutions, a small business specializing in addressing complex national security challenges. This strategic acquisition boosted the company’s ability to offer a wide range of services and solutions to the Department of War and agencies across the intelligence community.
With ASRC Federal supporting a variety of missions across the Navy, Army, Air Force and other federal agencies, Manzo’s priority is maintaining those relationships and cultivating deep mission capabilities.
Because ASRC Federal is nimble and possesses a unique speed-to-mission capability that allows it to move from acquisition to deployment quickly, Manzo and his team can act with speed and a pace that other larger companies just can’t. This allows the team to reduce traditional timelines significantly, because of their agility and ability to bring to bear capabilities from across the entire organization that affect mission change.
Why Watch
Manzo says his team will be heavily focused on aligning our programs and capabilities with the Golden Dome mission in 2026 and beyond, especially with regard to data collection and intelligence. ASRC Federal, in conjunction with its mission partners, enables decision makers to make decisions quickly, deriving fast, timely and accurate intelligence for whatever their mission needs may be. His team works with customers to navigate policy-related and interoperability challenges related to systems that traditionally aren’t interoperable.
“I get up every morning because I want to defend the country, and nothing makes me happier than bringing our people home safely – mission accomplished,” Manzo said. “I’ve dedicated my entire career to that. My work at ASRC Federal puts me in a position to continue doing that.”
Fun fact: Manzo cherished weekends coaching his son’s soccer team and watching his daughter compete in swimming. He described coaching as playing chess with someone standing 20 feet away, an absolute thrill he hopes to return to.
