Elizabeth “Liz” Alston leads VTG’s people and talent strategy. With nearly 30 years in government contracting, she is known for building high-performing organizations, strengthening workplace cultures, and aligning talent strategies with business growth.
At VTG, Alston has played a pivotal role in organic and M&A growth, with 13 acquisitions and one divestiture. She has led the onboarding and cultural integration of thousands of new employees while strengthening VTG’s people-first culture.
She also provided steady, compassionate leadership to VTG’s more than 1,700 employees during a six-week government shutdown and workforce reductions resulting from industry changes. Through visible, empathetic leadership and a steadfast focus on employees, she helped sustain connection, reinforce trust and preserve VTG’s people-first culture during a period of significant uncertainty.
