MyDefence has opened an office in Reston, Virginia, expanding its U.S. footprint and bringing the counter-drone technology company closer to federal customers and defense partners.
The opening follows the launch of an Oklahoma City production facility earlier this year in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, establishing U.S. manufacturing and research and development capabilities.
The Reston office positions MyDefence near the Pentagon, Capitol Hill and key defense agencies, as well as Northern Virginia’s defense technology industry, the company said.
“Our Oklahoma City facility put American manufacturing at the center of our production. Reston puts us at the center of the conversations that shape how that technology gets to the warfighter, to law enforcement and to the agencies protecting critical infrastructure,” said William Ostrowski, president and CEO of MyDefence North America.
The Reston office will support collaboration with defense, homeland security and law enforcement customers on Spectrum Warrior, MyDefence’s approach to using AI to analyze radio frequency signals. It connects information from soldiers, vehicles, vessels, fixed sites and command systems to provide a shared view of the electromagnetic environment.
MyDefence manufactures, integrates and supports its technology at U.S. facilities. The company said the new office will strengthen customer and partner collaboration as it expands U.S. operations.
