Carahsoft Offers Symantec CBX Availability for SLED Customers

Carahsoft has announced the general availability of Symantec CBX, a unified cloud-based XDR platform that combines endpoint protection, threat detection and response, and data security to protect against AI-accelerated threats.

Carahsoft is a member of the global Broadcom Catalyst Partner initiative. Broadcom announced the worldwide availability of the platform at RSAC Conference 2026.

“Many State, Local & Education organizations are being asked to do more with smaller security teams and tighter budgets,” said Brian Snell, director of Broadcom Business at Carahsoft.

“Symantec CBX helps give those teams a clearer picture of what’s happening in their environments, so they can investigate threats more quickly and better protect the sensitive data and services their communities rely on. That helps organizations keep the services and educational programs people depend on running, while taking good care of the data they’ve been trusted with.”

The AI-powered Symantec CBX platform enables defenders to discover and prioritize vulnerabilities, detect, investigate complex attacks at scale, and automate responses at machine speed, the company said.

Platform features such as Threat Tracer let expert and novice analysts alike visually investigate full attack chains without writing queries, while Incident Prediction, trained on 500,000 attack chains, predicts an attacker’s next moves and auto‑mitigates via Adaptive Protection. Symantec CBX is designed to help under-resourced teams:

The platform automatically collects and correlates security telemetry to support teams with limited resources. Its Threat Tracer feature lets analysts visually investigate attack chains without writing queries, and Incident Prediction is trained on 500,000 attack chains to anticipate attackers’ next steps.

Broadcom said Symantec CBX can help teams accelerate threat investigations, enrich data security within investigations and deliver essential cloud and web security controls.

“Symantec CBX represents a fundamental shift in how we deliver security to every defender, regardless of team size or budget,” said Adam Bromwich, CTO, Enterprise Security Group, at Broadcom.

“By bringing together the best of Symantec and Carbon Black in a single, intuitive platform, we’re eliminating the complexity that has traditionally forced lean security teams to choose between capability and usability. By leveraging frontier AI, Symantec CBX enables security teams to make smarter, faster decisions to better protect their organization.”
