Serco Inc. has won a $199 million prime contract with the Navy to deliver professional support services to the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maritime for Modernization & Sustainment.

The award is for critical life cycle management support for the Navy’s in-service surface ships, ensuring ships have the latest technologies throughout their entire service life.

“Ensuring our nation’s surface ships are modernized and available quickly from maintenance has never been more critical to national defense,” stated Barbara Supplee, CEO of Serco North America.

“We are incredibly proud to extend our partnership with NAVSEA. This award highlights our team’s deep subject matter expertise and underscores Serco’s commitment to improving fleet readiness and supporting the Navy through technology advancements.”

Under the contract, Serco will provide program and project management, technical engineering, and integrated logistics support for 10 core mission functions for DPAE M&S.

The new full-and-open, competitive recompete win builds on Serco’s over 20 years of supporting DPAE M&S and its predecessor organizations. The new contract includes critical adjustments to meet modern fleet demands.

Work will be done primarily at key U.S. naval hubs, CONUS and OCONUS.
