BlueGenAI has rebranded as Veylo, expanding its focus on mission-critical system modernization for government agencies, large enterprises and systems integrators.

The company said the new name reflects velocity and its emphasis on bringing speed and clarity to the full software development lifecycle. Its platform, leadership team and existing customer relationships will remain unchanged.

“Everyone is racing to generate more code faster,” said Veylo CEO Growson Edwards. “That is not the hard part of modernization. The hard part is turning a decades-old system nobody fully understands into a modern one you can actually accredit, deploy, and trust. That’s what we built Veylo to do.”

Veylo is an AI modernization platform for mission-critical systems, turning legacy applications into modern, production-ready software across the entire development lifecycle.

The platform covers legacy discovery to blueprinting, requirements, build, testing, data migration, and deployment, and covers security, testing and compliance. According to the company, Veylo addresses a common challenge: traditional modernization is too slow and too expensive to apply past an organization’s most urgent systems, and AI coding tools only accelerate one step.

“Modernization has been slow because it’s been blind: decades of legacy code and buried requirements force teams to move cautiously through systems no one fully understands,” the company said.

The Veylo Platform uses AI to transform legacy systems into a validated blueprint, then modernizes the whole system from that blueprint while keeping the customer’s technical and domain experts in control. It generates audit-ready evidence with the build rather than reconstructed at the end.

The blueprint is also application-neutral, meaning Veylo delivers full-code modern applications or low-code platform modernization, such as Tyler/TAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian, Microsoft Power Apps or Pega. Veylo produces the finished system, its blueprint and its evidence in the customer’s environment.

According to the company, on a representative project, the Veylo AI Platform compresses a 13-to-27-month modernization into about 6 to 20 weeks with half the delivery team. This can save an estimated $2.4 million to $3.3 million in labor.

Veylo said the platform has also been proven on mission-critical systems across legacy languages like .NET, COBOL, Delphi, AS400, JCL and SQL variants.

Veylo is now available directly or through contracting vehicles, system integrators and its partner network.
