General Dynamics Information Technology said it has launched the first-ever set of zero trust solutions that integrate into existing IT systems, making it faster and more cost-effective for agencies to implement zero trust.
“As cyberattacks become increasingly sophisticated, fueled by AI, our customers need proven zero trust solutions tailored to their mission environments,” said Brian Sheridan, GDIT’s senior vice president for Defense.
“Our flexible, scalable and cost-effective zero trust solutions will enable agencies to achieve DoW’s mission to rapidly implement zero trust, combat advanced cyber threats, and ultimately protect our national defense operations.”
AI is changing the scale, speed and complexity of emerging threats. The DOW and other agencies are turning to zero trust in response, but many current industry solutions require removing and replacing existing IT infrastructure to protect systems.
GDIT invested in its Everest Zero Trust portfolio to allow agencies to leverage existing technology investments while adopting zero trust capabilities.
The portfolio includes three distinct solutions:
-
Clarity: Assesses IT infrastructure and creates an actionable zero trust implementation plan.
-
Flex: Integrates modular zero trust capabilities into existing systems based on agency needs.
-
Unified: Provides GDIT’s full-stack zero trust for new IT systems and operational environments.
GDIT said its Everest Zero Trust solutions are “the first and only to successfully complete a government ‘red team’ cyber assessment of an upgraded IT system, demonstrating it can withstand sophisticated cyberattacks.”
The company deployed these solutions in over 40 mission environments, including with the Department of the Air Force and for the Army National Guard.
