Agile Defense has appointed Benjamin Shotzberger as vice president of Department of Homeland Security business development. He’ll lead the company’s growth strategy for DHS customers, expand partnerships and identify mission-aligned opportunities that support homeland security priorities.
Before joining Agile Defense, Shotzberger drove growth across DHS, federal civilian enforcement agencies and the Defense Department Fourth Estate. He led national security business development across DHS components and built a pipeline of high-value opportunities supporting the departments of State and Justice as well as the Environmental Protection Agency.
Earlier in his career, Shotzberger held several roles within DHS, including positions in the Science and Technology Directorate and the Office of the Secretary, where he advised senior leaders on technology investment priorities and interagency collaboration across the homeland security enterprise.
“Ben’s experience gives him a strong perspective on the challenges facing the homeland security mission,” said Rick Wager, Agile Defense CEO. “Ben will help ensure we are building even stronger partnerships across DHS and delivering solutions that support mission readiness and resilience.”
