Chugach Government Solutions has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 following an assessment by a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization.
“We take seriously the trust our government partners place in us,” said Laine Klein, CGS president. “This certification is an accomplishment and a promise that we will continue to innovate, invest, and lead with integrity as we support the nation’s most critical missions.”
The certification confirms CGS meets all NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2 requirements for safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information.
“Achieving CMMC Level 2 is a significant milestone that reflects years of disciplined investment, collaboration, and continuous improvement,” said Tom Langdon, senior director of digital solutions CGS. “Cybersecurity is not a checkbox for us — It’s an operational imperative. This certification underscores our commitment to maintaining a secure digital foundation so our defense customers can execute their missions with confidence.”
The certification process required verification of CGS’ implementation and sustainment of advanced cybersecurity practices protecting Controlled Unclassified Information.
