Everforth ECS has won a prime position on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Data Solutions Blanket Purchase Agreement, which has a ceiling of $58 million.
Of the six companies included in the BPA, Everforth ECS was awarded the first task order, a $1.7 million, 1-year data management effort supporting CPSC’s federal data modernization initiatives.
Everforth ECS said it is working with Novaren Systems to support delivery.
“The impact of CPSC’s mission is felt in households across America, and we’re proud to support the agency as it modernizes how it uses data to protect consumers,” said Donnie Scott, president of Everforth ECS.
“We’re bringing our expertise in cloud, data, and AI to strengthen the foundation CPSC needs to turn data into faster, better mission outcomes.”
Under the contract, Everforth ECS will help modernize CPSC’s data infrastructure and analytics capabilities that support its mission to protect consumers. The company will strengthen how CPSC collects, governs, integrates and analyzes data to advance decision-making and its ability to identify emerging product hazards.
“Under the BPA’s first task order, we’ll help modernize CPSC’s data foundation by migrating legacy, on-premises SAS environments to a governed, cloud-native data platform,” said Asad Akhtar, Science and Engineering business unit leader at Everforth ECS.
“That foundation will give CPSC a stronger platform for analytics and AI, helping the agency identify patterns earlier, make better-informed decisions, and improve consumer safety.”
Everforth ECS will also help with CPSC’s Sentinel and National Electronic Injury Surveillance System modernization efforts as it moves from legacy processes to scalable solutions for injury surveillance.
The modernized system is expected to be fully effective by early 2027.
