Kameke Mitchell
Senior Director of Emerging Markets, MetroStar
Kameke Mitchell’s biggest recent achievement is extending MetroStar’s reach into Colorado Springs through partnerships like CCTI.
In collaboration with MetroStar’s Space Growth Executive Doug Edwards, Mitchell created new opportunities to deliver AI-enabled mission solutions that help government customers operate more efficiently and effectively.
That expansion is more than business growth, Mitchell said. They’re also building trusted relationships within the Space Force and defense communities to support long-term mission success. As MetroStar continues investing in the region, Mitchell is excited to help strengthen MetroStar’s presence and contribute to the innovation ecosystem supporting national defense.
Mitchell is also helping government customers operate more efficiently by reducing the friction between data and decisions. At MetroStar, that means leveraging its products, like Midas, to deliver AI-enabled capabilities that integrate with existing mission workflows, helping users quickly access and act on critical information without adding complexity. Mitchell’s focus is enabling mission teams to spend less time searching for data and more time making informed decisions.
Why Watch
In 2026, Mitchell is focused on closing the gap between what AI can do and what defense and intelligence agencies are actually fielding. That means spending less time demonstrating capability and more time integrating mission-ready AI into the workflows where it can make the greatest operational impact.
Mitchell’s goal is to help accelerate responsible AI adoption that delivers measurable value to the people making critical decisions every day. She’s especially focused on helping teams operationalize products like MetroStar’s Iris to accelerate mission outcomes through secure, human-centered AI.
“Success is measured by the lives I elevate, the rooms I transform, and the example I set when no one is watching,” Mitchell said.
Fun fact: Mitchell is an accomplished marathoner and committed fitness enthusiast, but her real passion lives in the kitchen. She bakes more than she runs, which is saying something given the miles she’s logged. Her favorite thing to bake is specialty cakes using her grandmother’s recipes, like her red velvet cake. Perfecting the recipe feels a lot like training for a marathon. “My grandmother doesn’t use recipes or measuring cups!” Mitchell said.
