    Jon Yobs, SAIC

    Jon Yobs

Vice President, Pricing & Interim Director Enterprise Contracts & Procurement, SAIC

Besides overseeing development of full lifecycle pricing and estimating activity across three business groups, Jon Yobs was also tapped as interim leader for SAIC’s Enterprise Contracts and Procurement organization.

“I have the privilege of leading world‑class teams that equip our contracting and procurement professionals with the tools, strategy, training and support they need to excel,” Yobs said. “Together, we’re staying ahead of the evolving federal acquisition landscape and building a culture that empowers innovation at every level.”

SAIC Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Enterprise Operations Prabu Natarajan said strategic pricing is a vital part of the business development process and Yobs’ leadership is a differentiator.

“Over his 20-plus years of service to SAIC, he has continuously evolved with our customer environment to adopt new and innovative methods of contracting and pricing while mitigating risk,” Natarajan said. “He leads a team of motivated and knowledgeable associates that is a reflection of his dedication to developing the next generation of pricing professionals.”

    Why Watch

Yobs and his team are focused on bringing real, practical AI innovation to pricing and estimating. Their roadmap is built to eliminate operational drag so specialists can devote more time to high‑value, strategic work for customers. Every team member has a personal AI goal this year, and Yobs said the breakthroughs crossing his desk are exciting.

Yobs said his team fully embraces the government’s growing need for faster engagement, sharper iteration and early clarity on pricing. His mission is to push estimating further left in the solution cycle, creating richer customer dialogue earlier and delivering pricing answers faster. That’s especially true as agencies accelerate into alternative acquisition models like fixed‑price, commercial and other non‑traditional pathways, he said.

“Leading this team is one of the greatest honors of my career,” Yobs said. “Their talent, intensity and technical precision set a standard across the industry. What inspires me most is how deeply they care about SAIC’s mission, our customers’ outcomes, and each other.”

Fun fact: Thanks to his son, Yobs recently became a huge fan of Formula 1, NASCAR, and all things motorsports. “An F1 Grand Prix isn’t that different from a day at SAIC,” he said. “(There is) extreme innovation, high‑performance engineering, and teams moving in lockstep toward a shared mission to win.”
