    April Sullivan, ATS

    April Sullivan

Senior Vice President of Business Development, Acclaim Technical Services

April Sullivan led ATS’s submission of the largest and most technically complex solution in the company’s history.

“Over two years, my team deeply analyzed the customer’s mission needs and crafted a solution that directly addressed their challenges with strong technical insight,” Sullivan said. “This milestone positions ATS as a truly tech‑enabled partner for our government customers.”

ATS CEO David Popelier said Sullivan’s work has sharpened the company’s business development, capture and proposal processes.

“(She is) making sure we’re allocating our resources against the most promising opportunities that are the best fit for our capabilities and driving forward ATS’s transformation into a leader in providing technology-enabled solutions to the IC as fast and efficiently as possible,” Popelier said. “There is no way we could be moving as quickly and purposefully as we are without April’s leadership and vision.”

    Why Watch

In 2026, Sullivan’s team is focused on expanding their capabilities to new customers, pursuing opportunities that demand more tech‑enabled solutions, and staying closely aligned with customer needs while anticipating where the mission is heading.

“At the same time, we’re equipping our workforce with the right tools and training — particularly with AI — to deliver excellence today and prepare for tomorrow,” she said.

Sullivan’s team helps government customers operate more efficiently by staying flexible and proactive as their needs evolve, especially around AI and machine learning, commercial tech and speed, she said. She said their focus is on bringing practical solutions that can make an immediate difference. With acquisition reforms moving fast, adapting quickly to contract changes helps customers stay focused on the mission without hiccups, she said.

“I’m excited to be part of ATS’s growth during such a transformative time, especially as we bring more tech‑enabled solutions to our customers,” Sullivan said. “And through it all, we’re staying grounded in what truly defines ATS — our people.”

Fun fact: Sullivan served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. During her time with the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, she received the Lt. Gen. Leo Marquez Award, which came with an incentive flight in an F‑16. “It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and something I’ll never forget,” she said.
