Agile Defense has appointed Shawn Tyrie as chief revenue officer to lead growth, customer engagement and market expansion across the federal government, defense and intelligence communities.
“Shawn understands the mission because he has lived it,” said Mike Pansky, chief transformation officer at Agile Defense. “His operational experience, technical insight, and customer-focused leadership will help us scale responsibly while continuing to deliver capabilities that perform when it matters most.”
Tyrie has over 20 years of experience in national security and defense, including roles at Gartner, AWS and McChrystal Group, where he led modernization efforts spanning secure IT adoption, cloud-enabled mission systems and applied machine learning.
Before entering the private sector, he served as an infantry officer, a member of the Army’s special operations community and an operations officer in the intelligence community. He has also held roles across federal, state and city governments in policy development, disaster response and technical solution development.
